LinkedIn starts business related Q&A service.
Thursday, January 4, 2007 at 15:07 LinkedIn just started its "Answers" service - a Q&A service that uses the global network to get answers from experts.
People answering questions can be featured as though-leaders depending on how many times people vote their answer the best one for the question asked.
Members of LinkedIn can ask up to 10 questions/month. Questions are ordered according to topic and there's a huge choice of topics to pick from.
I've answered a couple of questions listed in the "blogging" section and asked one myself. When asking questions you receive the option to send it directly to your contacts in addition to posting it on the public Answers page of LinkedIn.
When you get an answer on your question you receive it by email and in your LinkedIn account. In my case more information on the answer was integrated into my Gmail.
The orange box tells me who answered and gives me the option to view or close the question straight from within my email.
Hope they copy this on OpenBC Xing.
