OK, so most feedback I get on this post is like "depends on the podcast...".
Well, it will be one of the most interesting podcast ever ;-).
- We will be talking about blogging, business communications, podcasting, the use of RSS etc... with leading companies and organisations across Europe.
- We'll bring a regular news overview from Europe with regards to business communications and new media and we'll have at least 1 guest on the show every 2 weeks.
- We will focus on real case studies, real companies/organisations and real user experiences.
- We will try to uncover the reason why new media are adopted more slowly in Europe than in the US and we'll try to figure out if cultural differences play a role etc...
- the talkshow hosts have more than 30 years PR/Communications/New Media experience.
- One is based in Paris France, the other in Brussels, Belgium and they will work with well known "foreign correspondents" in the UK, Germany and Italy.
Again, what would be the best length ?

to answer that question properly is more complex... like, 'how long should a podcast be, given my audience / participant type'?
i.e if the audience is based in north america where lengthy commuting isn't uncommon, maybe the optimum length is higher than listeners based in europe?
how about approaching the question in a different way altogether...
like, 'if i were to produce a podcast on xxx... how long might you commit to listening to it on a weekly / monthly basis'?

by the way, was chatting with Laurent Haug in Geneva about you earlier.. I nominated you as a possible speaker at the second LIFT conference... http://www.liftconference.com/blog/ ... suggested perhaps you did something on social media in the corporate space... nothing confirmed.. just a conversation...
see ya
